Over the past week, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) increased in Primorsky Krai, exceeding the epidemic threshold by 15.94%. Sporadic cases of influenza have been registered.

One school and one kindergarten are closed for quarantine. In 12 groups of kindergartens and in four classes of four schools the educational process is partially suspended. This is reported by PrimaMedia IA.

The morbidity is caused by the circulation of rhinoviruses, adenoviruses, metapneumovirus and parainfluenza. Medics urge Primorye residents to observe preventive measures and not to self-medicate.

In Trans-Baikal Territory, the incidence of pneumonia has increased by 13% over the year. The disease mainly occurs in the form of acute respiratory viral infections.
