Russian Armed Forces liberate the towns of Trudovoye and Starye Terny in the DNR


The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the settlements of Trudovoye and Starye Terny in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on December 18.
"As a result of decisive actions of the units of the "Southern" group of troops, the settlement of Trudovoye in the Donetsk People's Republic has been liberated," the ministry said.
In the same direction, Russian troops destroyed up to 350 servicemen, an armored combat vehicle, two vehicles, a 122-mm D-30 howitzer, as well as a U.S.-made AN/TPQ-50 counter-battery radar station and an ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
The village of Starye Terny was liberated by units of the Center Group of Forces. In addition, in the same direction, Russian troops repelled 11 counterattacks by the AFU and destroyed a Canadian-made Senator armored fighting vehicle and up to 440 militants.
On the eve it became known that the Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Annivka in the DNR. The Russian army also defeated the formations of three mechanized, motorized infantry, airmobile, assault brigades of the AFU and defeated two brigades of the thero-defense.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
