- Sevastopol resident sentenced to 10 years for setting fire to a collection of humanitarian aid and preparing a terrorist attack

Sevastopol resident Andrei Enyukov has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for setting fire to a collection of humanitarian aid for the residents of Donbass and preparing a terrorist attack on an oil storage facility. This was reported to journalists on December 18 in the press service of the FSSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol.
"He was sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony, with serving the first three years in prison. Also he is forbidden to engage in the administration of sites on the Internet for three years", - stated in the message of the Department.
It is specified that in the summer of 2022, the man created a radical informal pro-Ukrainian movement to carry out terrorist attacks. Later he committed arson of the collection of humanitarian aid for residents of Donbass and intended to set fire to an oil storage facility in Sevastopol. He purchased bottles with incendiary mixture and stored them at his place of residence.
As a result of illegal actions, the attacker was detained by officers of the FSSB of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
Earlier, on December 16, a military court sentenced Vasily Zharkov, accused of state treason, participation in the terrorist organization "Russian Freedom Legion" (recognized as a terrorist organization and banned in Russia) and in the preparation of sabotage at strategic facilities in the Moscow region, to 19 years in a strict regime colony. The convict himself did not admit guilt, and his lawyer explained his client's actions by "hormonal failure due to the lack of love relationships."
