In an interview with Izvestia, Anatoly Aksakov, the head of the State Duma Committee for Financial Markets, has estimated that the ruble exchange rate will go down next year. In his opinion, all objective factors - both the workload of production and foreign trade settlements - speak about it.

"Most likely, next year the ruble exchange rate will strengthen below 100 per dollar," said Anatoly Aksakov.

According to his forecast, inflation will also soon begin to decline. This is due to the fact that after the problems with imported goods, many enterprises needed time to reconfigure their processes and set up new production. Now they are already gradually starting up, and this will lead to market saturation. Businesses have also managed to better establish supplies of goods from abroad, which are not produced in Russia in the required quantity.
