The unserved sentence of former top manager of Rostec Alla Laletina in the fraud case has been replaced by correctional labor. About it on December 18 "RIA Novosti" reported in law enforcement agencies.

"The defense petition was satisfied in the order of Art. 80 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, replaced the unexecuted term with correctional work," - said the interlocutor of the agency.

Laletina was acting top manager of Rostec until the summer of 2019. Earlier she was the chairman of the arbitration court at the state corporation.

The Khamovnichesky district court of Moscow sentenced a former top manager of Rostec to eight years in colony in the bribery case on November 27, 2023.

In addition to receiving a bribe in 2020, she was charged with fraud on a particularly large scale. According to the investigation, she and her accomplices illegally employed people in the Moscow office of NZIV, and the salary received was managed by herself.

In July 2024, the Moscow City Court commuted Laletina's sentence. Thus, she was reduced the fine by 132 million rubles, previously it amounted to 133 million and was equal to twice the amount of the bribe received by the former top manager. The reason for the change in the sentence was the reclassification of Laletina's actions from part 6 of article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe on a large scale") to part 4 of article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Receiving a bribe on a large scale"). 4 Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Fraud on a particularly large scale").
