Russian Air Force Su-34 crew destroys AFU manpower and equipment in Kursk border area

The crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Air and Space Forces (VKS) has destroyed manpower and armored vehicles of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near the Kursk region. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 18.

It is specified that the strike was carried out by aerial bombs with a universal planning and correction module (UMPK), which allows launching projectiles from a safe distance.

After the Su-34 crew received information that the enemy had been destroyed, it returned to the airfield from which the flight was made.

Earlier, on December 11, the crew of the Su-34 multirole supersonic fighter-bomber of the Russian Armed Forces launched a strike on a cluster of AFU personnel, armored and vehicle military equipment in the Kursk border area.

The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk Region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a federal emergency. Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory are being liquidated.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
