A Customs and Border Protection helicopter crashed at the U.S.-Mexico border


Near the border of the United States and Mexico crashed a helicopter of the Customs and Border Protection Service, the pilot was killed. This was reported by NBC News on December 18.
"The helicopter crashed while patrolling the border south of Barrett Lake at about 10:00 (21:00 Moscow time - Ed.). As a result, the pilot of the craft was killed," the publication says.
It is specified that the accident is investigated by the National Council for transport safety.
Earlier, on November 25, in Costa Rica crashed a light-engine plane Cessna with six passengers. Search planes were able to find only the wreckage of the fuselage in the jungle at an altitude of about 2,100 meters above sea level. A team of rescuers is working at the site of the airplane crash.
