Russian ambassador says direct flights between Russia and Brazil are needed

Russia and Brazil should organize direct air and sea communications in order to be able to conduct bilateral relations between the countries bypassing unfriendly states and their sanctions. This was announced by Russian Ambassador to Brazil Alexei Labetsky on December 18.
"We are separated by more than 10 thousand kilometers. And today a flight from Moscow to Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo takes 24-28 hours. Labetsky specified that these actions will facilitate bilateral trade between Russia and Brazil, bypassing unfriendly states and sanctions imposed on Russian ships.
