Media reported explosions in Cherkasy, Pavlograd and Kiev-controlled Kherson


Explosions have been heard in Pavlograd, Cherkasy and Kherson controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on December 17 by the Ukrainian edition "Strana.ua".
"Explosions are reported in Pavlograd in Dnipropetrovsk region, <...> in Kherson, <...> in Cherkassy," the Telegram channel reported.
The air alert is currently announced in Kiev, Chernigov, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkov, Zhitomir regions.
The Russian Defense Ministry did not comment on the information about the explosions.
Earlier in the day, the Ukrainian media reported about explosions in the Kiev region against the background of an air alert. Before that it became known about explosions in Kiev.
Russian troops in October 2022 began strikes on military facilities and related energy and communications facilities in Ukraine. As explained by Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was a response to the terrorist actions of the Kiev regime.
The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was taken against the background of the aggravated situation in the region.
