A cat lost at the Vologda train station has been sent to its mistress

Railroad employees found a cat that ran away at the station in Vologda and sent it to its owner. This was reported in the press service of the Northern Railway on December 17.
"The cat Sonya was found and will return to the mistress," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.
It is specified that the cat ran away at the station in Vologda from the train Arkhangelsk - St. Petersburg on December 15. At the stop, the owner took her out for a walk, and the cat, frightened by the station noise, got under the storeroom of the heating point of the track workers. It was not possible to remove the animal from there during the stop.
After that, the station employees tracked the cat by surveillance cameras and tried to lure it with food from the place where it hid. However, this did not work. A camera trap was then set up inside the storeroom, as well as a trap with food. On the second day, the cat became hungry and came out to smell the food.
Sonya was moved to a warm room, fed and watered. Employees of the station helped to draw up a receipt for transportation, and in the evening the cat was sent to St. Petersburg to her mistress in the company train "White Nights".
Earlier, on December 13, the criminal case about the death of the cat Twix, who was thrown out of the train carriage in Kirov, was terminated. The cat got out of the carrier. The conductor could not find the owner of the pet and decided that he was a stray, and took the animal out of the carriage at the nearest stop in the freezing cold. After the request of the owner Edgar Gayfullin the cat was searched for almost the whole Kirov, the corpse of the animal was found not far from the railroad tracks. As a result of the investigation, the conductor who took the animal out of the train car was found not guilty.
