Bogomaz reported the destruction of a Ukrainian UAV in the Bryansk region

Air defense forces have destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the territory of Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on December 17.

"An attempt of the Kiev regime to commit a terrorist attack with the use of UAV on the territory of the Bryansk region has been suppressed. An unmanned aerial vehicle of aircraft type was detected and destroyed by the air defense forces of the Russian Defense Ministry," the governor wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, there were no casualties or damage as a result of the enemy attack. Operational and emergency services are working on the site.

Earlier, on December 16, Bogomaz reported two eliminated drones in the sky above the region. According to him, there are no damages and casualties as a result of the attempted attack.

The AFU is attempting to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
