Crimean authorities warned of possible mobile internet outages


In Crimea, in order to ensure the safety of residents from Tuesday, December 17, there may be disconnections of mobile Internet. This was reported on December 17 by the Ministry of internal policy, information and communication of the Republic of Crimea.
"To ensure the safety of the residents of Crimea from today possible disconnections of mobile Internet. All Internet providers will provide services in the usual mode", - stated in the message of the Ministry in its Telegram-channel.
Earlier, on November 15, it was reported that the State Duma deputy from the faction "New People" Yaroslav Samylin sent an appeal to the head of Roskomnadzor (RKN) Andrei Lipov, where he proposed to notify Russians about Internet shutdowns in case of, for example, exercises. The deputy is sure that if not only organizations, but also citizens know in advance about disruptions in access to the Internet, they will be better prepared and will face fewer inconveniences while meeting their personal and professional needs.
