The monument to merchant Khrennikov in Lipetsk will be opened by the end of 2024

In Lipetsk on December 27 is planned the grand opening of the monument to the merchant Alexei Khrennikov. Architect Sergey Soshnikov informed GOROD48 about it.
However, as the agency notes, the monument is not yet ready. So, to the right hand of the figure of the merchant should be attached to the temple. The base lacks an information plaque. The backlighting is also not yet mounted.
The monument to the merchant Khrennikov was cast at the expense of local entrepreneurs. Khrennikov was a hereditary honorary citizen of Lipetsk and was considered the largest local patron of the arts in the first half of the XIX century. His money was used to build the Church of the Holy Trinity, one of the most majestic not only in Lipetsk, but also in Tambov Province, which included the city. The church was demolished in 1931.
At the end of November it was reported that Lipetsk has determined the supplier of new attractions for the Lower Park. The tender for the supply and installation of nine rides was awarded to the Lipetsk company "Alkor". It agreed to fulfill the terms of the contract for 104.65 million rubles at the initial price of 130 million rubles. The rides themselves are manufactured in China, but are fully certified for operation in Russia.
