Traditional snacks for the New Year's table can be harmful to health, warned on Tuesday, December 17, a doctor, clinical nutritionist of the service "Novabiom" Daria Rusanova. She listed the products that it is better to refuse when preparing the New Year's menu, and also named useful alternatives.

According to the doctor, the most harmful snacks are those that contain many additives and at the same time have low nutritional value: sausages, imitated caviar, pates, ryetas, canned foods.

"The feeling of satiety after such products does not last long, but there are a lot of calories in them," she said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru.

Nutriciologist added that some emulsifiers, which are contained in such products, are able to dissolve the protective shell of not only conditionally pathogenic, but also beneficial intestinal bacteria, and too frequent and abundant consumption of such food can lead to dysbacteriosis.

The doctor expressed confidence that the optimal snacks are natural products that do not contain harmful substances for the body and create less strain on digestion, provided they are consumed in moderation.

"It is better to give preference to cuts of whole meat and fish: the feeling of satiety will last longer, and excess calories and harm will be many times less," - concluded the expert.

Nutritionist Polina Zhuravleva noted that if you want to try everything on New Year's Eve, it's better to start with light snacks, then move on to hot food, and dessert and leave it for January 1, reports 360.ru.

Nutriciologist, candidate of biological sciences Elena Lepekhina noted that on New Year's Eve it is better to refuse meat and sausage cuts, to make a choice in favor of fish products, reports NSN.

In turn, nutritionist, nutritionist, therapist, member of the National Association of Nutritionists and Nutritionists Anna Belousova told in an interview with Pravda.Ru about what to pay attention to, how to navigate the world of sweets to choose a quality and safe product for the child.

According to the expert, sweet options with peanuts, natural and milk chocolate are undesirable. Also, the less preservatives E, food additives, the better, the expert added.

Earlier, on December 11, culinary historian Anton Prokofiev said that previously housewives liked to use mayonnaise in salads due to the limited choice of products, writes Life.Ru.

On the eve of the chief nutritionist of the Ministry of Health of the Moscow region Inna Pichugina told about how to celebrate the New Year and still maintain good health. According to the expert, one should not make salads on the New Year's table on an industrial scale.
