The Russian Boxing Federation will check the incident with a young boxer in Murmansk

The Russian Boxing Federation will look into the incident in Murmansk, where a teenager was detained for beating people. The organization said that its members, accredited regional sports federations, are responsible for educational work among children and young people, including the prevention of deviant behavior.

In the Telegram-channel of the Federation says that according to the results of the inspection, appropriate actions will be taken, and decisions will be made with regard to the subjects of the sport "boxing". The organization will inform about it additionally.

IA "Bi-Port" specifies that the data that the young man is involved in boxing, spread in social networks after his page in "VKontakte" was found. The profile indicates that the place of work of the young man is the Boxing Federation of the Murmansk region.

Users of social networks began to write to the group of the regional Boxing Federation, but there stated that this young man has nothing to do with them.

Between September and November 2024, the 16-year-old beat up three minors. In October, he attacked an elderly man. His actions were recorded on video and then appeared on social networks. Criminal proceedings have been initiated on these facts.

The agency specifies that the teenager is a citizen of Kyrgyzstan, he has no Russian citizenship. His father was previously brought to administrative responsibility for failure to fulfill parental duties.

Earlier, on December 12, it was reported that a criminal case was initiated in the Moscow region Kotelniki after the beating by teenage girls of their peer in the school toilet. The injured schoolgirl was hospitalized.
