Yakutia breaks the USSR record for housing construction

About 750 thousand square meters of housing will be commissioned in Yakutia by the end of 2024, which will be a real record in the history of the region since the Soviet times. This was announced by the head of the republic Aysen Nikolaev on air of the program "Direct Talk".

He specified that we are talking about the commissioning of 329 thousand square meters of housing in apartment buildings and 421 thousand square meters of houses built as part of individual housing construction.
According to Nikolayev, Yakutia ranks second in the Far Eastern Federal District in the number of loans issued under the Far Eastern Mortgage program.
The region is also implementing a project on resettlement from emergency housing under the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". Since 2019, it has been possible to improve housing conditions for 41 thousand people by resettling 757 thousand square meters of emergency houses.
Earlier in December, Izvestia wrote that Russian developers began to sell land plots purchased for construction. According to experts, in this way, in the conditions of high interest rates, the companies intend to reduce the overall level of credit burden.
