- Experts have found out that only 25% of Russian companies have New Year cash bonuses

15% of companies in Russia completely ignore any corporate New Year events. At the same time, only every fourth organization practices New Year's bonuses, according to the results of a survey conducted by IFORS Research analysts, which were presented to Izvestia on December 18. The survey of 1 thousand working Russians was conducted in 85 regions.
Experts found out that less than half (49%) decorate their offices, only in every third company (36%) organize New Year's corporate parties on the initiative of management, and in even smaller proportion of companies are planned informal holiday meetings (29%) and gifts for children of employees (29%). Only 25% of organizations give New Year cash bonuses, and only 8% give gifts to clients and partners.
In addition, 16% of employees give gifts to their colleagues on their own initiative. In most cases, they spend no more than 1 thousand rubles on gifts to their colleagues.
"I would like to emphasize that creating a positive and motivating atmosphere before the New Year is not a waste of resources, but a strategically important investment. Holding festive events can significantly strengthen team spirit, increase motivation and inspire employees for new achievements in the coming year. Ignoring these opportunities - a significant lost profit for any company," - said an expert IFORS Research Julia Ermolenko.
Earlier, on December 12, it was reported that Russians began to actively buy up New Year's sweets. This follows from the data of trading sites. Such gifts weighing 500-600 g cost this year Russians an average of 791 rubles, follows from the data of the analytical center "Check Index" company "Platform OFD". The average check for children's holiday sets of sweets has grown this year by 12-13%.
