The Tula Zaseki National Park was created in the Tula Region

In the Tula Region, the Tula Zaseki National Park has appeared on the territory of three municipalities. It was granted the status of a specially protected natural territory of federal significance.

TSN 24 with reference to the press service of the regional Rosreestr specifies that the park covers Tula, Efremov and Shchekinskiy districts. Its total area is 5786.8297 hectares, including forest land and land, the category of which is not defined.

In the park it is forbidden to carry out any activity that may cause damage to the natural complex, cultural and historical objects, objects of flora and fauna.

Earlier it was reported that the most polluted river in the Tula region was recognized as the Don River. Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the region Yuri Panfilov promised that the river will be cleaned of garbage by 2029.
