Traffic on the Mytishchi Chord was launched in the Moscow Region

Traffic on the Mytishchi Chord has been launched in the Moscow Region. This is the first regional concession in the Moscow Region, Governor Andrey Vorobyov said in his Telegram channel on December 17.
The road Vinogradovo - Boltino - Tarasovka has become a stand-in for the Moscow Ring Road, the northern section of which should be unloaded by 20%, he said.
The highway will have a barrier-free payment system "Free Flow" - there will be no barriers on the road, which will increase the capacity of the highway. It will be possible to pay for travel with transponders, which are used on other toll roads.
The construction took four years, 16 km of four-lane road, 11 bridges and overpasses, six interchanges were built. Approximately 30 thousand cars will travel along the chord per day, the governor noted. The changes will affect 850 thousand people - these are residents of Mytishchi, Dolgoprudny, Pushkino, Korolev and other districts.
As specified by "Kommersant", now the road is working in a free test mode, which will be finalized after the end of some legal procedures. Tariffs have not yet been approved.
