"Dynamo" has terminated the contract with Canadian hockey player Eric O'Dell

Moscow hockey club Dynamo Moscow has terminated the contract with Canadian forward Eric O'Dell. This was reported on December 17 in the press service of the club.

"Dynamo Hockey Club(Moscow) thanks Eric O'Dell for his dedicated attitude and honest labor. There are new challenges ahead, in which we wish the player good luck!" - noted in the message.

It is noted that the contract with the hockey player terminated on the initiative of the club.

The Canadian forward decided to play in the KHL in 2016, played for "Sochi", "Metallurg" and "Sibir", then moved to Dynamo Moscow. In the 2023/24 season, the Canadian played 54 games for the team. After that he won silver medals at the World Championship in Finland as a member of the Canadian national team. This season, the forward played 14 games, in which he scored two goals and gave four assists with a utility rating of "-1".

Earlier, on February 12, the Novosibirsk hockey club Sibir terminated the contract with defenseman Fedor Gordeev. The 25-year-old defenseman scored seven points in 42 games this season.
