The All-Russian Municipal Award "Service", established by Russian President Vladimir Putin, will help develop the competencies of municipal employees in the Russian Federation. This was stated by Irina Guseva, co-chair of the All-Russian Association for the Development of Local Self-Government (VARMSU), at a meeting of the award's supervisory board on December 17.

She urged municipal employees to make themselves known and tell about their achievements.

"Whatever profession a person is, he always wants to strive, develop, fill with competencies. The award is about this, so welcome to the municipal award "Service", - said Guseva.

She noted that the work of municipal employees, despite its complexity, is the most in demand, because in the pandemic they had to quickly become specialists in COVID-19, and now the local authorities must quickly work with the participants of the special operation to protect Donbass. Guseva added that the head of state, having established the award, brought municipal employees together for the first time in history.

Artur Indzhiev, the winner of the "Service" award, noted that its establishment is a new stage in the development of municipal practices, because for the first time employees of local authorities have the opportunity to make themselves known at such a high level.

The "Service" award is given to people who have made a particularly great contribution to the development of municipalities and contributed to the improvement of the quality of life of citizens. The award is organized by WARMSU with the support of the Presidential Administration of Russia.

Earlier, on November 29, the Russian Creative Awards in the sphere of creative industries were presented in Moscow. The jury included Svetlana Balanova, General Director of National Media Group (NMG). The winner of the Creative Region nomination was Krasnoyarsk Territory, where 20 thousand people work in the industry and 13 thousand companies operate in this sphere.
