Haval announced the launch of a new SUV on the Russian market

Haval has announced the launch of a new SUV on the Russian market, which will be part of the Pro lineup. A silhouette of the model marked "soon on sale" appeared on the brand's website. As suggested by Rossiyskaya Gazeta on December 17, we may be talking about the Haval H7 model, which is known in the home market under the name Big Dog.

The second-generation Haval Big Dog is a mid-size SUV with a body length of 4705 mm and a wheelbase of 2810 mm. For overseas markets, there are versions with a hybrid powertrain with a 1.5-liter engine and a non-electrified version with a 2.0 engine.

It is assumed that the production of Haval H7 may begin at the plant in the Tula region, which capacity was partially unloaded by moving the assembly of Haval M6 in Kaluga.

On November 26, Haval confirmed the start of production of the M6 crossover at the Kaluga plant "Automobile Technologies" (former PSMA Rus). Representatives of "Haval Motor Rus" did not say when the Haval M6 of Kaluga assembly will be on sale. Previously, such cars were either imported from China or produced at the Haval plant in the Tula region in small volumes. The Automobile Technologies plant has also started production of Citroen C5 Aircross.
