Igor Balynin, associate professor at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, recommended on Tuesday, December 17, to adhere to three basic rules when managing the family budget.

"First of all, it is necessary to make mandatory payments. We are talking about taxes and payment for housing and communal services," he told aif.ru.

He added that it is important to save at least 10% from each income received.

In addition, according to the economist, to prevent a deficit in the family budget, it is necessary to live within your means, without accumulating debts and without borrowing.

Earlier in the day it became known that Russian residents are ready to spend up to Br5 thousand from the budget for each gift for the New Year. In this case, women buy gifts before men, but men are willing to spend more, specified on the website kp.ru.

December 6, research "VSK Insurance House" showed that most of the surveyed Russians - 55% - do not keep a family budget or do it on an ad hoc basis. This trend is especially pronounced among people aged 35 to 44 years old. At the same time among financially literate couples most often practiced a common family budget.

On November 19, a study by Level Group showed that every third married Russian keeps a joint family budget, RT reports. Of them, 16% share all expenses with their spouse equally, while 18% share only expenses on rent, utilities and food, while the rest of the salary is managed independently.

Earlier, September 10, child psychologist and storyteller Irina Prokofieva gave advice to parents on how to explain to the child what the family budget is and how to properly manage it. According to the expert, it is best to do it through games, for example, play in the store, reports 360.ru.

At the same time, the results of the SuperJob survey showed that the majority of Moscow residents called the correct way to distribute the family budget the one in which income is considered common, and spending is agreed between the spouses, while every ninth citizen is in favor of a separate family budget, reports the agency of city news "Moscow".
