In Germany, a World War II bunker has been auctioned for €1

A World War II bunker was put up for forced auction in Germany with an initial bid of €1. This was reported on December 17 in the official Telegram-channel "Bild in Russian" (recognized as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation).
It is specified that the bomb shelter built in 1941 is located in the north of the city of Hamm.
Since 2004, the bunker belongs to the debtor, and the authorities are enforcing the collection of property fees unpaid by the owner.
The low starting price of €1 is due to the expensive reconstruction of the building and the cost of demolition, which is estimated at €620,000, the publication pointed out, citing experts.
"On February 21, interested buyers will be able to submit their bids at the local court," Bild reported.
Earlier, on December 9, auction house Sotheby's said that the oldest stone tablet with the Ten Commandments, dating from 300-800 AD, will be sold at an auction in New York on December 18. According to the auction house's estimates, the tablet is planned to be sold for $1-2 million.
