The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have lost up to 260 soldiers in the Kursk direction over the day. This was reported in the Russian Defense Ministry on December 17.

"Over the day the losses of the AFU amounted to up to 260 servicemen," - stated in the message.

In addition, three armored combat vehicles, five vehicles, a launcher of the RAK-SA-12 Croatian-made multiple rocket launcher, two 122-millimeter D-30 howitzers, as well as a radio-electronic warfare station were destroyed over the day.

In total, the AFU lost more than 41,660 servicemen during the fighting in the Kursk direction.
