Radionova reported about the pollution of the coastline of Anapa after the emergency with tankers

The head of Rosprirodnadzor, Svetlana Radionova, told Izvestia on December 17 that oil slicks formed after a tanker crash in the Kerch Strait had reached the shores of Anapa.

"To date, the coastline has received pollution," she told the paper.

According to Radionova, Rosprirodnadzor specialists are working in three locations, samples are analyzed and the situation is assessed.

Earlier in the day, the governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratiev said that oil products after the accident with tankers carried to the shore for dozens of kilometers.

On the eve of Kondratiev reported that in four settlements of the Kuban after the spillage of oil products introduced a high alert mode. At the same time, the head of the Republic of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that no pollution after the oil spill on the Black Sea coast was found.

Tankers "Volgoneft-212" and "Volgoneft-239" crashed in the Kerch Strait on December 15. Strong squally winds and sea waves up to 7 points were observed in that area. In the main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol reported that more than 50 people and 11 units of equipment are involved in the elimination of the accident.

Later in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia specified that the "Volgoneft-212" ran aground. 13 people were evacuated from the vessel. It was reported that two of them remain in a state of moderate severity, another person died. Two criminal cases were opened over the incident, one of which was reclassified to a more serious composition.

"Volgoneft-239" ran aground near the port of Taman in the Krasnodar region. All 14 crew members were evacuated from it.

In turn, Russian Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Alexander Kozlov said that it is too early to say how much oil products got into the sea. Part of the fuel oil remains in the tankers, which are at the bottom of the sea, and due to temperature conditions, the fuel oil remains on the bottom. According to him, divers will examine the remains of the vessels and, accordingly, will give their conclusion.
