Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. It is noted that units of the Southern group of troops liberated the settlement of Annivka of the Donetsk People's Republic, units of the group of troops "Center" took more advantageous lines and positions, and units of the group of troops "East" continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense, defeated the formations of two mechanized brigades, an assault battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), two brigades of thero-defense.

"The units of the Dnipro group of forces defeated the living forces and equipment of the mechanized, infantry, mountain assault brigades of the AFU and two brigades of the thero-defense in the areas of Novoandreyevka, Lobkovoye of the Zaporozhye region, Sadovoye and Ingulets of the Kherson region," the Defense Ministry noted.

The ministry added that operational-tactical aviation, attack drones, missile troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces groups of troops hit the enemy's accumulations of manpower and military equipment in 142 areas.

In addition, air defenses shot down a HIMARS multiple launch rocket system and 49 aircraft-type drones.

In total, 650 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37,867 unmanned aerial vehicles, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19,827 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,501 multiple rocket launchers, 19,738 field artillery and mortars, 29,286 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the beginning of the special military operation.
