The daughter of one of the victims of serial killer Alexander Spesivtsev believes that he pretended to be insane during the medical examination. The woman told about this on December 17 "Izvestia".

"He was adequate, he understood what he was doing, he realized what punishment awaited him, that a person could die from some of his actions. I believe that at that moment he specifically pretended to be crazy," she said.

According to the woman, medics could have made a mistake by recognizing Spesivtsev as insane, but more than 20 years have passed since then and during that time irreversible changes have taken place with the criminal.

"I think he doesn't realize where he is or what he is anymore at all," she explained.

The victim's daughter was just over a year old when her mother was reported missing. Now the woman has filed a second claim for compensation for moral damage, the first claim was rejected by the court.

On the eve of the joint press service of the courts of the Kemerovo region reported that the Zavodsky district court of Novokuznetsk received a claim for moral compensation from the daughter of one of the victims of Spesivtsev.

In the 1990s, together with her mother, Spesivtsev lured children and teenagers to his apartment in Novokuznetsk, killed them and ate them. He tortured and raped his victims. In 1999, Spesivtsev was convicted in connection with the murder of four people.

In May 2024, he was sent to compulsory treatment due to the fact that it was proved that he was involved in the murder with particular cruelty of 15 people, 11 of whom were minors.
