Autoblogger Gadzhiev, who hit pedestrians, was left in custody


Moscow Regional Court has left unchanged the preventive measure for auto blogger Gadzhi Gadzhiev, who hit pedestrians on the road. This was reported by the correspondent of "Izvestiya" on December 17.
November 28, Odintsovo City Court of Moscow region appointed Gadzhiev's arrest until January 15. The blogger appealed this decision.
According to investigators, on November 16, on one of the toll plots of the federal highway near Odintsovo, the 26-year-old driver of a BMW failed to control, the car ran over people standing on the side of the road, two people were injured.
It was reported that before the meeting Gadzhiev said that after the accident he tried to help the victims and escorted them to the hospital. The lawyer claimed that his client transferred Br50 thousand to the victims. It was noted during the hearing that Gadzhiev had fled the scene of the crime and had been on the wanted list since November 18.
Autoblogger Gadzhiev was detained on November 26 on suspicion of committing a traffic accident in Odintsovo near Moscow. It was specified that his car hit the citizens standing on the roadside. Two people were injured, they were taken to hospital. A criminal case was initiated under paragraph "b" part 2 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of road traffic and operation of vehicles") and Article 267.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Actions threatening the safe operation of vehicles"). The Izvestiya source noted that the detained Gadzhiev himself came to the law enforcers with a confession.
