Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the command and personnel of the 1307th motorized rifle regiment on the awarding of the "Guards" designation. The corresponding statement was published on December 16 on the Kremlin website.

The President noted the heroism, bravery and courage of the fighters shown in the defense of the Fatherland.

"Skillful and decisive actions of the regiment's personnel during the special military operation are an example of fulfillment of military duty, bravery, selflessness and high professionalism. I am convinced that you, Guards soldiers, will continue to be faithful to the oath, honorably serve the Motherland, reliably ensure the security and peaceful life of our citizens," Putin stressed.
