Filming has begun on the dramatic thriller "RESERVATION"

"Reservation" is the first screen adaptation of Stanislav Gimadeev's sci-fi novel "The Principle of Parity". The series also stars Nikolai Schreiber, Polina Gukhman, Alexei Rozin, Valeria Astapova, Olga Makeeva, Sergei Barkovsky and Yuri Nasonov.

Production of the project is engaged in the film company Team Films, online cinema KION and TV channel REN TV. Directed by Alexei Andrianov. TV premiere of the series will be held on the channel REN TV.

Former policeman Sergei returns home, but home is no more. Native neighborhood, cut off from the outside world by a mysterious anomaly, now called a reservation. In the reservation there is no communication, nor the usual rules, and any attempt to go beyond its limits ends in death. Hoping to solve the mystery of the anomaly and get his relatives out of the trap, Sergei sneaks into the closed territory. But is it only the anomaly stands in his way?

The multi-genre series touches on many social and philosophical issues - from the confrontation between man and the system to questions of choice and morality, life and death.

- I have been attracted to movies all my life not everyday stories, but some strange, supernatural, otherworldly, where you have to overcome something unusual - says the performer of the main role Denis Shvedov. - It spurs imagination, it is always more interesting to work. I like such plots and genres as a viewer, so when the script came, it was just a matter of passing the audition. I'm very happy to be on the team.

- The script seemed very interesting to me, and I have long wanted to work with Alexei Andrianov, all divorced fate, but finally came together! - states actress Ekaterina Volkova. - My heroine - a doctor. I often play doctors, but this time the role is special ... The heroine is living the metamorphosis between feeling and reason, salvation and guilt... It's always interesting to play the complex and ambiguous.

- I have always liked movies and books in the genre of dystopia," says director Alexei Andrianov. - The most fascinating thing about this genre is the opportunity to invent and create your own world. It's close to science fiction, so it's very interesting to work with. Even before I came to the project, when they were writing the script application, Denis Shvedov was presented as the main character - the character was created practically for him. And when Denis came to the audition, he showed such strong results that it was immediately clear: this is our hero.

- "Reservation" - a project incredibly complex, admits the producer of the film and general director of Team Films Teymur Jafarov. - The difficulty is that in this genre in our country there are very few projects and, accordingly, few specialists who know how to work with it. Some people call this genre dystopia, some call it sci-fi, and others draw parallels with the works of Stephen King. Our project touches on all areas tangentially, too. This work is particularly interesting because, despite the experience of our team, we are all learning something new. Working on the project, we feel again like students with doubts like, "Is this the right thing to do?", "Will it work?". It is from such doubts that something special is born.
