FAS uncovered a road cartel for 15 billion rubles within the framework of the national project

The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) has uncovered a cartel worth Br15 billion within the framework of the national project "Safe Quality Roads". This was reported in the press service of the antimonopoly body on December 17.

"The implementation of the illegal agreement was revealed at the tenders for the construction, repair and reconstruction of highways in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions," - explained in the FAS.

The service found signs of violation of antimonopoly legislation in the actions of several organizations engaged in the construction, repair, reconstruction of roads - LLC "DorMost", LLC "StroyYugRegion" and LLC "ANT". They entered into an anticompetitive agreement to maintain prices in 28 trade procedures. The total amount of state contracts amounted to 14.9 billion rubles. Some of the tenders were held within the framework of the National Project. Participants of the collusion face negotiable fines.

Earlier, on November 5, it was reported that the FAS revealed a cartel within the framework of the national project "Safe quality roads" for the amount of more than 1 billion rubles. A case of violation of antimonopoly legislation was initiated against JSC Giprostroymost and LLC Kuzovatovskoye DRSU.
