Captured Ukrainian serviceman tells of marauding by the AFU in Kursk region


The main targets of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Kursk Region were civilians and looting. This was told on December 17 by a captured Ukrainian militant Dmytro Verbitsky.
"The commander's order was: the civilian population, if they are caught, do not be particularly ceremonious, if necessary, shoot in this way. Looting. <...> If there was such an opportunity, in the broken structures of residential houses were searching for food and anything of value," - admitted the prisoner.
According to him, there were 50 people in the company, which arrived in the Kursk region.
It is noted that the captured militant was previously convicted.
Before that, on December 16, the captured AFU militant Arthur Plombirus told at the interrogation that the Ukrainian command gave orders to shoot civilians and Russian soldiers in Kursk region. In addition, the command asked not to speak to the population in the Ukrainian language.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of Kursk region on August 6. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The operation to destroy the militants continues.
