Chelsea's Ukrainian footballer Mykhailo Mudryk has failed a doping test


Ukrainian midfielder of Chelsea Mykhailo Mudryk has failed a doping test. This was reported on December 17 by the publication Tribuna.
It is noted that the 23-year-old footballer passed the sample "A" back in October, which gave a positive result for the presence of a banned substance.
Now the midfielder faces a four-year suspension if he fails the second doping test.
Mudryk moved to Chelsea from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2023. In the current year, the footballer took part in 15 matches in all club tournaments.
The last time Mudryk was on the field on December 1 in the match against Aston Villa. Since then, the midfielder missed four matches Chelsea.
Earlier, on October 9, Ukrainian biathlete Semerenko was disqualified for a year for doping. The athlete is officially banned to start until March 20, 2025. In the summer, the biathlete received a temporary suspension for doping violations. She failed to provide information on the whereabouts or missed three doping tests in a year and could not prove her innocence.
