A criminal case has been opened in Primorye after the death of a worker at the mine


The Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Primorsky Krai has opened a criminal case over the death of a 51-year-old miner at the mine. This was reported on December 17 by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Primorsky Krai in its Telegram channel.
"A criminal case has been opened on the fact of death of a worker during the collapse of rocks at the mine "Yuzhny" in Dalnegorsk urban district", - noted in the message.
According to the version of the investigation, the incident occurred due to the collapse of the ground during production work.
According to the latest data, the inspection of the scene and interrogation of witnesses are carried out.
About the incident at the mountain mine in Dalnegorsk urban district of Primorsky Krai became known earlier in the day. It was reported that 11 people were underground, of whom eight came out on their own. One worker was injured. The evacuation of all employees of the enterprise was carried out. After mine rescuers lifted the victim to the surface, he was handed over to doctors. Also, two more workers came out with him.
Later, the victim of the rock collapse at the mine "2nd Soviet" died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
