Yuzhnoye and Brateevo depots will be united into a multifunctional complex

Electric depot "Yuzhnoye", which is currently under construction, is planned to unite with the working "Brateevo". This was announced by the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin on December 17.

"Two enterprises will be located on one territory, where subway trains will stop between trips, scheduled maintenance and undergo a full cycle of overhaul," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.

To ensure the operation of the united complex will be created a unified system of automation telecontrol of traffic, which will allow to quickly redistribute trains, simultaneously control the position of all the arrows included in the route, as well as to determine the readiness of arrow and track and track sections for the passage of trains.

Sobyanin also pointed out that the management of this system will be carried out from the electric depot "Yuzhnoye".

Earlier, on December 4, Sobyanin told about plans to build new subway lines. He also said that the next stage of the Troitskaya subway line is planned to be built in 2025. Sobyanin specified that in addition to this now in the capital the project on construction of Rublevo-Arkhangelsk subway line is being realized.
