Investigators have opened a criminal case over the explosion on Ryazansky Avenue in Moscow, which killed two men. This was reported on December 17 in the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in Moscow.
"In connection with the incident that occurred on Ryazansky Avenue in the city of Moscow, which resulted in the death of two men, the investigative bodies of the Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the city of Moscow initiated a criminal case," - stated in a message in the Telegram-channel.
The Izvestia footage shows that the scene is still cordoned off. Law enforcement officers are clarifying all the circumstances. In the near future a number of examinations will be appointed, including medical and explosive-technical.
The capital Prosecutor's office noted that controls the establishment of all the circumstances, as well as the progress and results of the investigation of the criminal case.
Earlier in the day, the source of "Izvestia" reported that in Moscow there was an explosion in a seven-story apartment building on Ryazansky Avenue, which killed two people. The cause of the explosion is being established.
