ATOR told about the consequences for Turkey in case of refusal from all-inclusive in hotels

In case of rejection of the all-inclusive system in hotels in Turkey, vacation in the country will lose economic sense. This was stated by the vice-president of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Artur Muradyan on December 17.

"If Turkey becomes a "pioneer" in banning all inclusive, other countries will gladly pick it up, and it will be a disastrous step for the country's travel industry. Then in many ways the economic expediency of traveling to Turkey will lose its meaning," he said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

Muradyan also specified that the proposal to cancel all inclusive comes not from the resort industry, but from representatives of related industries. According to the vice-president of ATOR, this is due to the fact that because of the all-inclusive system they lose their profits.

In addition, Muradyan drew attention to the fact that even in the case of banning all inclusive at the legislative level, it is difficult to imagine how the implementation of this ban will be controlled.

Earlier, on December 15, the president of the Association of Small Hoteliers of Turkey Ertan Ustaoglu expressed doubt that the abolition of the all-inclusive system in the country's hotels will lead to a decrease in the number of Russian tourists. According to him, the all-inclusive system "feels tired".

Before that, on October 15, Turkish businessmen suggested that in the future there may be fewer hotels operating under the all-inclusive system because of its ineffectiveness. This is due to the fact that all inclusive leads to spoilage of very large amounts of products, which can not be fully realized in hotels. According to businessmen, in the future hotels will try to move to a new scheme of providing meals to vacationers. One of the options may be cooperation with restaurateurs.
