Investigators opened a criminal case after a fire at a school in Buryatia

In Buryatia, a criminal case was initiated after a fire in a school in the village of Tokhoi, Dzhida district. This was reported on December 17 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee for the region.

"A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of a crime under part 1 of article 293 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Negligence")", - stated in the publication.

The agency specified that the possible cause of the fire could be the emergency operation of electrical equipment or electrical wiring. Investigators together with employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will soon proceed to checks and detailed examination of the scene.
