Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is considering resigning over the decision of Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland to leave the government. This was reported by CTV channel on December 17.

Canadian Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland said she would leave the Cabinet on December 16, as Trudeau decided to deprive her of the portfolio of Finance Minister, transferring her to another job in the government.

According to media reports, Trudeau announced the possibility of his resignation to the members of the Cabinet during a meeting on December 16.

Earlier, on October 17, political scientist Gleb Belyakov said that Canadians are tired of the ruling Liberal Party and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has been in office for almost nine years. In his opinion, the main reasons are a period of high inflation and slower GDP growth compared to the United States. The expert also stressed that Trudeau constantly creates negative infoprovods, such as honoring an SS veteran in Parliament, the purchase of a condominium in Manhattan for $9 million to the consul general.

The day before, CTV News reported that a group of fellow party members will call on Prime Minister Justin Trudeau next week to resign as leader of the Liberal Party he leads.
