American President Joe Biden instructed the US Congress to pass firearms safety laws as soon as possible after the shooting at a Christian school in Wisconsin. This was reported on December 16 in the press service of the White House.
"Congress must pass sensible gun safety laws: universal background checks, a national red flag law, a ban on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines," the report said.
It is specified that Biden and his administration are trying to provide as much help as possible to the victims of the shooting in Wisconsin. The US President also thanked the rescuers who promptly arrived at the scene.
Earlier in the day, NBC News reported that at least five people were killed in a shooting at a Christian school in the United States. The head of the local police said that at least seven people were hospitalized. In turn, the TV channel ABC News specified that among the dead was the shooter.
At the same time, the White House said that Biden was informed about the shooting at a Christian school in Wisconsin.
