Drivers, welders and promoters had the fastest salary growth in 2024. In the past year, the proposed salaries in the Russian Federation increased by a quarter - from 58 thousand in 2023 to 71.8 thousand rubles this year, the recruiting platform hh.ru (Izvestia has the document). The highest increase was recorded in promoters - by 88%, up to 68 thousand. The fastest salary was also raised to drivers (+42%, up to 129 thousand) and welders (+39, up to 138.5 thousand).

Can the savings be a resource for increasing the income of health care professionals?

Among the employment sectors, the leaders in terms of wage growth were manufacturing, financial and insurance activities, as well as construction, according to the report of the Accounts Chamber on budget execution for January-September 2024 ("Izvestia" studied it).

"The main driver of the Russian economy's recovery now is the manufacturing industry. Mainly due to the state defense order and import substitution. This has influenced the growth of salaries of welders and promoters, as the former are in short supply on the market, and the latter have increased demand amid the need to promote domestic goods," explained Natalia Milchakova, a leading analyst at Freedom Finance Global.

At the same time, the most "expensive" professions this year were IT-specialties - DevOps-engineer, data-scientist and system analyst, who are offered above 170-200 thousand. The top five also included realtors and surveyors.

At the same time, salaries fell at collectors (-24%, to 50 thousand), copywriters (-21%, to 59 thousand), financial analysts (-8%, to 85 thousand) and fitness trainers (-3%, to 62 thousand), follows from the calculations of hh.ru.
