Investigative Committee opened criminal cases on the facts of attacks by a man with a knife in Rostov-on-Don

In the Rostov region, criminal proceedings were initiated after a man attacked a teenager with a knife and a girl, who died as a result of the incident. This was reported in the Investigative Committee of Russia in the region on December 16.

According to the agency, in Rostov-on-Don, an unknown man entered the entrance of an apartment building, where he tried to stab a minor.

The attacker repeated the attack on a woman in Aksai, stabbing her. She was hospitalized with multiple wounds, but later died in the hospital.

"On these facts criminal cases have been initiated on the indicia of crimes provided for by part 3 ch. 30 ч. 1 article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ('Attempted murder'). The suspect is detained and will soon be questioned by the investigator. During the investigation of the criminal case, taking into account the occurrence of grave consequences in the form of death of the victim, the actions of the suspect will be reclassified to a more serious article of the charge", - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

At the same time, the regional prosecutor's office in Telegram-channel reported that the agency keeps under control the progress of the investigation of criminal cases on the facts of the attack on two people.

In addition, a childhood friend of the attacker told Izvestia that the attacker had a criminal record and used illegal substances.

It is reported that the 26-year-old man who stabbed the girl had been treated in a psychiatric hospital three times.

"He was treated in the hospital, sent three times. He went crazy. Said that he communicates with ghosts," - said the interlocutor.

Earlier in the day in Rostov-on-Don, a man stabbed a girl in the entrance of an apartment building. As reported by the source of "Izvestia", the victim died. Before that, he attacked a teenager with a knife, but missed and hit the minor on the headphones. Later it became known about the detention of the man.
