Vakhtangov Theater traditionally at the end of the outgoing year takes within its walls of the audience award "Star Theater". This year the magic of numbers came true - the ceremony was held for the 17th time, in as many nominations was raffled off the porcelain statuette of Mim (unless you count the special one). The winners were chosen by the audience through online voting, the exception being the title of "Stage Legend". Candidates were proposed by the audience, but the editorial board of the magazine "Teatral" and the Public Council of the award had the final say this time. The names of those who won this special honorary category were known in advance. Among the men - choreographer, world ballet legend Vladimir Vasiliev and theater and film actor, People's Artist of Russia Mikhail Filippov.
- As soon as I got off the pot, I began to dream of becoming an artist. True, this dream did not come true - I wanted to be a puppet theater actor. So far it hasn't worked out, - joked Mikhail Filippov in a conversation with journalists before the ceremony. - There was no such department. Nowhere taught on the artists of the puppet theater. It could have been done after GITIS, but I was lured by another scene. I'm used to thanking people every time for their attention to me. And for this high award, I don't know how to thank them. Legend of the stage, according to the award, also became an actress Vera Alentova, loved by the public not only in the role of Katerina in Vladimir Menshov's drama "Moscow does not believe in tears," but also thanks to many other film and theater works.
Winners of the award "Star of the Theater" announced in Moscow
The start of the ceremony was given by Kulisa, a theatrical neural network, who addressed the audience from the screen and became the co-host of the Vakhtangov Theater actor Pavel Popov, also known to the audience for the TV series "Gold Bottom" and "Live Life". All this is a reflection of the director of the ceremony, who was the director of the ROSTA Theater in Tsaritsyno Alexander Nesterov, on how modern technologies coexist with the theater and affect it. Envelopes with the names of the winners were delivered to the stage by an obedient robot-dog, making the audience in the hall every time laugh approvingly and smile as much as a live one.
Among the first statuettes were taken by the Youth Theater "Chaika" from Nefteyugansk ("Best Amateur Theater"), the Theater of Stage Classics from Switzerland ("Best Russian Theater Abroad"), Kaluga Drama Theater ("Best Regional Theater"). The best musical performance was "Mayakovsky" directed by Alexei Frandetti (Mark Zakharov's Lenkom).
The best productions of large and small form were, respectively, "Dog's Heart" by Anton Fedorov at the Moscow Youth Theatre and "Transparent Heart of Autumn" by Alexander Korshunov at the theater "Sfera". And the award in the nomination "Best play for children and youth" went to "Don Quixote" by Alexei Chernyshyov in Nikita Mikhalkov's Workshop "12".
Tikhon Zhiznevsky for his role as Igor Grom in the superhero film "Major Grom: The Game" received the Mime statuette in the category "Best Role of a Theater Actor in a Film". Competed in the nomination with Ivan Yankovsky and Evgeny Tsyganov.
The best theater actress in the movie according to the audience was Victoria Isakova (Kira Selezneva, "One Hundred Years Ago"). For the victory also fought Marina Zudina and Yulia Snigir.
- I've always been a little proud that I'm a theater actress who goes to visit to make movies. It has long ceased to be something important, and it is unclear where I spend more time - on stage or on the set. One can get confused as to what is more valuable to me. Vadim Vernik said quite accurately (during the announcement of the winner. - Ed.) that in the theater, the actor grows, tries something new, and then it is already used in the movie. But the movie gives the audience love of such a scale! And audience love gives the opportunity to grow huge wings! Everything is done to feel this love, - Victoria Isakova addressed the audience.
The choice of the people's jury fell on Evgenia Kregzhdeh in the nomination "Best Actress" (Marina, "The Tale of Sonechka", Vakhtangov Theater). Igor Vernik took the statuette for "Best Actor" (Arbenin, "Masquerade with Closed Eyes", Chekhov Moscow Art Theater), and then made a lengthy brilliant speech in which he thanked Konstantin Khabensky for the opportunity to play this character.
- I am very grateful to Konstantin Khabensky, who once came to me in the dressing room and said that there is an idea to put "Masquerade". I immediately figured out that he is, of course, Arbenin, and what I am, it turns out... the young prince. And he said, "Do you want Arbenin?" I picked him up in my arms and held him for a long time! I was happy! - Igor Vernik shared from the stage.
This year "Star of Teatral" introduced a special nomination in honor of the Year of the Family. ROSTA Theater in Tsaritsyno under the direction of Nonna Grishaeva became according to the award the best for the whole family.
But in the competition between artificial intelligence and humans, the latter won in the end. The backstage was out of order, and the flesh-and-blood presenter Karina Andolenko, an actress of the Moscow Gubernsky Theater, had to save the situation.
