EMERCOM firefighters rescued two people from a burning apartment in Maikop

In the city of Maykop there was a fire in an apartment of a multi-storey residential building, firefighters rescued two people, more than 40 were evacuated. This was reported on December 16 in the main department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Adygea.

The message about the fire in Maikop on Kurgannaya Street was received on Monday. It is specified that on arrival of the fire brigade observed open burning of an apartment on the third floor of a five-storey building.

"The gas smoke protection service link were found and rescued from the burning apartment two people, evacuated 42 people", - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

The area of the fire amounted to 70 square meters. There are no dead or injured, added in the department. To eliminate the fire were involved 14 people and three units of equipment.
