The Husis claimed a hypersonic missile strike on a military facility in Tel Aviv

Yemeni Houthis struck a hypersonic ballistic missile at a military facility near Tel Aviv. Yahya Saria, a military spokesman for the Houthis, said on December 16.
"The missile forces of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a military operation aimed at destroying a military facility of the Israeli enemy in the occupied Jaffa neighborhood with the help of a hypersonic ballistic missile of the Palestine-2 type," the statement published in the Telegram channel read.
It was also reported that as a result of the successful operation, all targets were achieved.
The press office said that the Yemeni Houthis will carry out military operations against the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) until hostilities in the Gaza Strip cease.
Earlier, on December 13, Saria reported that Yemeni Houthis carried out unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strikes against Tel Aviv and a military target in Ashkelon. According to Saria, two drones were used in the operation and were able to bypass interception systems and reach their targets.
On the same day, it was reported that the Houthis have intensified strikes against Israel since the ceasefire in Lebanon. Thus, a few days ago, the Houthis launched strikes using 16 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones.
On December 10, the movement repeated the attacks on US ships in the Gulf of Aden. In addition, strikes have also been carried out deep into Israeli territory.
The Houthis began striking ships in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden last November in protest of Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip. On the night of Jan. 12, in response to their actions, the U.S. and Britain launched an attack on Houthi targets in Yemen. The White House said the strikes on movement-controlled areas of the country were defensive in nature. It was also claimed at the time that the strikes were carried out to protect international vessels.
