In Ordzhonikidzevsky district of Yekaterinburg, an eight-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy who were crossing the road were injured in a utility accident. About it reports IA "Ura.ru" with reference to a source in the emergency services.

"For reasons unknown so far, there was damage to the hot water supply pipeline on Shefskaya, 44 with damage to the roadbed. A passenger car drove into the dip. While crossing the road received burns to the legs of a girl and a young man," - said the interlocutor.

The girl was diagnosed with a first-degree burn, her parents decided not to hospitalize their daughter. And the young man was taken to the burn center of Hospital No. 40 with painful shock. He received second and third degree burns on the soles of his feet.

The pipe on Shefskaya Street in Yekaterinburg burst in the evening of December 16. The asphalt collapsed, boiling water rushed into the street and steam poured down. A team of the Ekaterinburg Heat Network Company (ETC) is working on the site.
