Four people injured in a three-car accident in Mari El

In the Republic of Mari El four people were injured in an accident involving three cars. As reported on December 16 by the State Automobile Inspectorate of the region, the accident occurred in Gornomari district on the road Kozmodemyansk - Bolshoi Sundyr.

According to preliminary data, the culprit of the accident was the 29-year-old driver of the car Renault Megane. The man violated the distance, after which he collided with the passenger car ahead.

"The driver of the car Renault Megane <...> did not maintain the necessary distance <...> and made a collision with the car Lada Kalina under the control of a 23-year-old driver. After that <...> drove onto the oncoming lane and [collided] with a Changan driven by a 38-year-old driver," the agency's Telegram channel reported.

As a result of the accident, the driver of the Renault, as well as the driver and two passengers of the Changan were injured. They were taken to the hospital.

Earlier on December 16, a source of "Izvestia" reported that a bus with passengers was involved in an accident in Togliatti. According to his information, the accident occurred on Lenin Street, when the driver of the vehicle failed to cope with the control and crashed into a pillar. There were 30 people in the cabin, including one child. Preliminary, seven adults were injured.
