Belousov was appointed head of VSK's Board of Directors for five years

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov has been appointed head of the supervisory board of the Military Construction Company (MCC). This order of the Russian government was published on Monday, December 16, on the portal of official publication of legal acts.
"To appoint the following persons as members of the supervisory board of the public-law company Military Construction Company for a period of five years: A. R. Belousov - Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation (Chairman of the Supervisory Board)," the document reads.
The order also reported that the powers of the former head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu as chairman of the supervisory board of VSK were terminated ahead of schedule.
On May 12, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree dismissing Sergei Shoigu from the post of the head of the defense ministry and appointing him to the post of secretary of the Russian Security Council instead of Nikolai Patrushev. There, the former defense minister will supervise the work of the FSVTS.
