In Dagestan, a hitman, who was on the federal wanted list on charges of blowing up two cars in the town of Neftekumsk in 2013, has been detained. This was reported to "Izvestia" on December 16 by a source.

According to the investigation, the 58-year-old man is involved in a car bombing in June 2013, which killed the director of the SPK "Vozrozhdenie" Gadilbek Shandiev.

He is also accused of blowing up the car of the ex-director of SPK "Vostok", former deputy of Neftekumsk municipal district Sultan Adzhakhmetov in November of the same year.

Adzhakhmetov lost his right leg in the explosion.

The investigation found that in both cases the explosive device was fixed under the bottom of the car on the driver's side.

Earlier, on December 5, law enforcement agencies detained four men suspected of a triple murder committed in 2005 in the Moscow region. It was established that the crime was committed on the night of September 3 in the village of Snegiri, Istra district. The defendants were charged under Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder"). The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
